Happy Mother's Day LG's

LG's...
Just wanted to take a moment to wish my favorite mamas in the whole wide world a Happy Mothers Day. I wrote a little something in honor of each of you. It's my own little story from being a single mom, so I know you can each relate. You can even replace the 'he' with a 'she' where applicable ; )
Hugs and blessings to you and yours this very special holiday. May you have the 'perfect' day ; )

Perfect
by Dee Pavia

The day he was born, I counted every perfect toe and finger
That first day of motherhood in my mind forever lingers
Could anything else be more perfect, anything be more real
So sweetly overwhelming...unconditional love revealed

And the dreams and the hopes, and all the sleepless nights
Wondering now that daddy's gone, how could I make it right
Surely this was not a part of my perfect little plan
Plans for the perfect little family, to raise my perfect little man

But as I watch my baby grow, watch the joy, watch the pain
Broken toys and broken hearts, each triumphant just the same
I see in him the promise of God's Word come to life
There is no greater hope than knowing God can make it...perfectly right.

Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (NLT)
