Special Thanks and Joyce Rocks!

First of all, thanks go out to Raven, Laura, Christi, Nanette and Donna for assisting a disabled friend with house cleaning for our first quarter volunteer opportunity. In addition, special thanks to Deb for connecting us with Greg and to all for bringing extra hands as well! What a beautiful lesson for our kids - to teach them humility, love, compassion and selflessness. Bless you all!
Pictured here are the group of us that went to see Joyce Meyer at her recent conference here in Phoenix. It was amazing as always. Just a few takeaways from that. The whole message was on 'Being Thankful'.

- An ungrateful attitude saddens and grieves God.
- Be thankful, expecting victory and you can have victory every time.
- God promises us a secret place to be hidden in Him while we are here.
- God does have a promise land for you - a place of victory!
- It's NOT your enemies that cause grief - it's your attitude!
- Say to your enemies "You cannot defeat me, because God is on MY side!"
- Romans 8:28 All things work together for our good...
- Appreciate your trials - they help us grow up, mature, and develop Godly character.
- The more we need God, the more we experience His realness and power!
- Do yourself a favor and get a good attitude! BE POSITIVE AND THANKFUL!
- What do you have in your life that you complain about now, but PRAYED for at one time to receive?!
- We have NOTHING to complain about - complaining is sin! The Israelites complained/grumbled and wandered in the desert for 40 years!
- We think we deserve more when in reality, in our sinful nature, we deserve NOTHING. Be grateful Jesus died so we can have eternity.
- Humility is hardest of virtues to come by because of our pride. Be thankful and give thanks - this is the will of God.
- This is God's battle, not ours - - take position, bow down, worship the Lord, see the deliverance of the Lord!
- Give thanks to God for everything ALWAYS - for He is good - His mercy endures FOREVER!

Alright ladies, that should tie you over until this Friday! Looking forward to our next meeting. Be sure to have your first chapter read and first section of workbook completed as well. Contact your Fridge Note Friend for an extra entry in our drawing! Can't wait...see you this Friday, 26th!

Be blessed...be a blessing.
Love much and much love,
Dee
